Plastisol thermal prints

Plastisol thermal prints are the most cost effective way of putting your design on a large number of garments. The process to create your screen is extensive so there are a minimum number of shirts that we will print using this method. If you have less than 25 T-shirts and do not want to pay the minimum charge, then Heat sealing or Embroidery are better options.

Embroidery

Embroidery is often chosen when the logo is to be in full colour but where the logo is not to cover a large surface area. Embroidery is priced by the number of stitches in your logo, it is not charged by the number of colours in your logo. You can use up to 6 thread colours. A small chest logo usually ranges anywhere from 3000 to 8000 Stitches.

3D Embroidery

3D Embroidery is a brand new technology, and Screengrafix are delighted to be the first to offer this service in Ireland. 3D embroidery gives depth to your logo and really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Garment films

Garment films are one of the most cost effective way of putting your design on a small number of garments or on garments with a lining that are not suitable for screen printing. There are two types of heat Garment films that we can use.

1. Colour Cut:This is where your logo is cut from a one coloured foil and heat sealed onto your chosen garment. This allows us to create a one colour logo and apply it to any garment including garments that are lined and not suitable for screen printing. This can be used for applying logos to nylon jackets, bags, umbrellas as well as shirts and sweatshirts. We can overlay two or 3 colours for a multi colour print but each colour is priced as a new logo.

2. Colour print: This is where a full colour logo is printed on a Garment film which is then cut out and heat sealed onto a garment which is cotton or polycotton based. This allows full colour logo application for small numbers of garments.

Domed Logos

Despite the proven popularity of domed labels and decals in the field of product marking, due to technical difficulties, they have - until now - been rarely seen on garments, or other fabric surfaces. However, we have recently developed a new technique to enable us to dome fabrics, and there is now a great deal of interest in applying domed emblems to garments, shirts, sports bags, baseball caps, storm proof jackets and a wide range of other fabric and leather goods.

Because domes are so eye catching on garments and similar items, it is generally agreed that the best effect is obtained by the use of quite small and discreet domed labels. Small domes add a look of quality to the product, which effect can be diminished by the use of domes that are too large. Consequently, they are very cost effective in use.

You can - and indeed you should - expect to use much smaller images than would be the case with embroidery and thermal prints with all the savings that this implies. Time and again we find customers prefer to have much smaller domed images than they would request with other methods of garment decoration.
